DDR5 memory is physically incompatible with DDR4. Before purchasing, confirm your motherboard and CPU support.
1. Physical Incompatibility
DDR5 and DDR4 have different pin counts (288 pins for both but with different key notch positions). They cannot be mixed or interchanged. A DDR5 motherboard is required.
2. Platform Support
Intel: 12th, 13th, 14th Gen Core processors with 600-series or 700-series motherboards
AMD: Ryzen 7000/8000/9000 series with AM5 motherboards
